LATE 60 EARLY 70s NELSON 200D 4X4

HELP ME

New User
HELLO, I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW MORE ABOUT A LATE 1960 TO EARLY 1970S NELSON 200D 4X4 (PROS AND THE CONS.)I HAVE A SMALL LANDSCAPING COMPANY AND GROWING AND NEED TO BUY A MID SIZE LOADER THAT FITS MY BUDGET!WHAT KINDS OF THINGS SHOULD I BE LOOKING FOR...WEAR AND TEAR ITEMS

Well,

THERE IS NO NEED TO SHOUT!

I am not familiar with a Nelson, but some general things to check are make sure nothing is bent, welded, and everything is square. check for leaks, and make sure the hoses are in good shape. Raise the arms up and leave it sit, with the pump off, should not leak down too fast...
Check the condition of the pins- if they are worn and hogged out on a low hour machine then the maintenance was probably not the best...

thank you for those insites, the machine was repainted, new brakes, also tires and needs a air brake compresser; and the top side of the bucket pins are replaced but not the lower back side if that makes sense (were the bucket pivets.)hours are not determand.also axle bearings have been replaced..detroit engine with a alison 3 speed trans.is it hard to find parts for a late 60 early 70s nelson 4x4 200d
