Wife found a car she likes that is within a reasonable distance. Emailed her to call about it and I could pick her up after work to go look. She writes back that the place is ran by Turks and she wasn't comfortable with it. I THOUGHT to myself that if a German had it and employed all Germans that overhead would be so high that anything at an affordable price would prolly be junk. I TYPED that if she found a German willing to spend the time and effort it takes to keep a decent used car dealership going, he'd prolly be a crook. Can't figure out why she hasn't answered................. BTW, she's German

Dave I think your wife must have a good sense of humor, or you wouldn't have told her that.

My motto is:

Never anger the cook.

Because I don't like my cooking. . .

I hope you find a car that you both like - for the right price too.

Turks as gastarbeiten may have been making the cars originally, they know what needs to be fixed to run a few more years. Alternative workers for some of the car parts were the long sentance prisoners- would you prefer a car part made by a half detoxed junky or one made by Turk? Something to ask wife AFTER supper.

I hope the couch is comfortable. I hate the taste of shoeleather in my mouth. I have learned to say "Yes, dear" a lot.
