Hi
I was just wondering if anyone had
any feedback on the Duetz tractors.
Looking for the good / bad or the ugly.
Doesn"t look to be alot of feedback out there.

The worst thing I see so far is parts dealers
are pretty scarce in my area.

The DX series are known for their weak differential and transmissions.
Walts in MO and Johnsons in MI have all the parts you need. Also there is a place in either south or north Carolina.
ARGO also has many of the parts at a greater price
 
There is a very large duetz salvage yard in Hendersonvill N. C. but he scammed me one time. I bought a parts tractor from him and he sold it again before I could pick it up. Someone offered him more $ than I paid so he sold it again. Told me someone stolled it from him. Locked wire fence all the way around but somehow they got it out?
 
I would like to add to this that the guy was kind enough to give my money back so I guess it was not really a full scale scam, so all I was out was a couple of trips down to Henderson NC. I sure did want that tractor though. Had a good engine which I needed. That was several years ago and I have never been able to find another one that I am will to pay the high prices that people think they are worth. So my old tractor just sets there dead. Oh well, maybe if I wait long enough I will eventually run into another good deal and get the old girl going again.
