Runing a MF8110, and the clutch is terrible to hold on, you can release the clucth pedal till it bits then it will loose hold, then bring the pedal up further and it will bite again then loose its hold again. when setting of it will bite then loose itself then jerk the tractor then set of. never slips whislt driving no matter what your doing with it. its been bleed out properly to manufactures spec, put a new switch on under neath the pedal its self and is no better. any ideas how to cure this? thanks john.

I have an old Farmall that acts like that, almost impossible to back up smoothly, just lurch-lurch and I can't rest my foot on something to steady the clutch pedal releasing. I won't let anyone come between me and the hook up implement...don't trust me or the tractor...darned nuisance. Leonard

A lot of things, it could be a bad disk or loose pressure plate or a warp in one or the other. It could be a slow leak in the master cylinder or slave cylinder on the clutch. Could be you have a bad leg, giggle. Mine jerks a lot when feathering a stiff clutch (Old age)
About the only way is to remove parts and see what happens I would suspect something like the slave cylinder or a bad spot in the linkage if not its tear down time.
