corn heads

Hi I was looking at a picture in the vintage photo section (1944 farmall h picking corn in central mo) and noticed that the head of the picker is on the opposite side of what I thought was normal. Did they make them both ways?

Depends on what make of picker it was. A Wood Brothers (Dearborn) was on the left instead of the right,I believe a Belle City was too. Pretty much everything Allis Chalmers made was left hand instead of right.
