What I would like to do today--if there was sun

This was Monday. Sun was actually out for a day. Foggy, rainy and more rain today. Had a good day when this picture was taken though. Anybody seen any funky stuff going on with Dek 63-42? Another farm had the kernels turning into a light brown so bad the elevator called me. That wasn't good. Luckily it was really bad in only one part, but the other 70 acres still had some of it. What it's called?

Most likely it was Diplodia. It is actually white, but by the time you get to harvest the hearts of the kernals turn brown. The test weight will be light and it won't store for any length of time.

What I'd like to know is how tall are the tires on that grain cart? Man that thing looks huge.

Those tires are 24.5-32's I think. The combine has 30.5-32's I know and they look a touch smaller. That's a small to medium sized cart around here. You can get around 500-600 bushel on it. Saw one yesterday that was 1000+ bushel and had 4 tires!! Last week saw one that I think was 1200 bushel behind a BIG 4WD CaseIH.
