Boy, it sure was a nice weekend - till now when the rain came AGAIN.
Did a little work outside Saturday but the wife was squacking about the washer leaking and the drier not drying, so today we bought a new matched pair for the price of another tracror. They're sitting in the laundry room watching it now but you gotta do what you have to do. Daughter commented, Dad I don't know what to do, but it is sure fun helping.
Pastor at church today again mentioned help to the farmers - but it's still not working yet as there are still a lot of beans and corn in the fields around here..

Hey Jim- Just got a few sprinkles over my way- not enough to get the ground wet. Got 2" Thurs/Fri though. The farmers hit it hard last week till the rain started, but plenty left to do. Do you know if the Stanford/Minier plow day is this Sunday? Always the first weekend of Nov, but since Sunday is the 1st... don't know. I welded up a set of 38" rims for the new "900" today- just got in the house after getting hit in the cheekbone with a tire iron (I think). A little too much ether trying to mount the 18.4-38's tubeless. Things went flying everywhere, so not sure what hit me. Could have been worse. Trying to get it ready to plow this fall to try it out before the pulling season starts next spring. I'll be at that plow day- come on over if you can. Kevin
 
It was nice yesterday! We only had some sprinkles late in the afternoon. Its the 2 1/2" that we got friday that we could have done without
 
Had sun up until bout 3:00p.m. then some sprinkles. Got 5 loads of corn out. Awfully gummy here. Can"t wash your truck because all the mud tracked on the road! Beautyful day though, regardless.
