Forgot to change the clock last night so hit it an hour early this morning (we change our clocks a week later than y'all in fall). Real dreary morning that looked like a good couch Sunday. Got all my hafta's done and moped around a little then the sun peeked through the fog at about 1100 and I got a little ambition.
Fenced about an acre of pasture that I just rented (gotta love T posts and soft ground), cleared a place in the back yard and put together a big a$$ dog kennel I bought about a year ago. Got inspired and finished picking up and tidying the back yard and have a big pile of stuff for the dump as soon as my tractor is fixed (back yard was looking real necky and bordering on embarrassing). Redone a burm in the barn with about 8 bags of concrete that I busted out (accidentally) 2 years ago . Worked on my quad a little, and washed my vehicle down a little. Yesterday, I tailored a gate we bought about 4 years ago to fit our entrance (about 6 hours of head scratching, cutting, welding, and woodworking). Gonna go to the guesthouse on the hill and treat myself to a meal and a few beers.
Just talked to the wife, she's about Texas'd out and will be home Tuesday evening. Said she had a real good time.

Done rambling now.

I Sure miss the Beer and Food over there, a few places come close with the food and import kegs but I miss the atmosphere the most!

Right now, the atmosphere is thick, wet, and dreary

Know what you mean though..Guess that's why I'm still here. Where were you?

I guess I have had A LOT of beer then because noone seems to have noticed that we're all an hour late today. Truth is , I probably WILL wind up screwing this up this year. Why do we still have to go thru with this nonsense twice a year? SOMEBODY must be making money off of it, it's the only sane reason.

I have been to Munchen, Pfronten, Fussen, Kempten and Rothenburg. I think the last one is fairly close to you compared to the rest.

Rothenburg is about 60 miles away. I made a loop about 15 years ago through the other areas, just can't compare, I like Southern Bavaria better hands down....
