power steering for my h

ive got an old H i was told about a charlynn system can anyone tell me where i can find a complete kit also if i try my own setup will the power steering pump from a car have enough moxi to run something like this

First off why?? An H should steer easy unless you have a loader on it. And yes they do make a set up for then that you can add but they cost a pretty penny and yes a power steering pump for say a Chev pick up will work just fine

give mathis equipment and tractor salvage a call. they used to advertise complete used char-lynn power steering setups. they may be able to set you up with one.

Why not just retrofit the H with a steering arm off of a DC Case .. . they Are easy to steer .LOL

first thanks for the tip about mathis second i have a snow/dirt plow on front it is what i believe to be oem ih other wise it does steer nice you dont by chance have a # for mathis thanks again adam farmall

Any chance you could post a picture of your plow set-up? I've got a narrow-front H, and its got a loader on it...still steers easy enough for me, tho after operating a newer loader-tractor at the IH Dealership local to me, power steering was calling my name for a while!
