Ahhh what a lovely day

Haven't posted for awhile. On a little vacation right now. Just wondering how all that "Hope and Change" is working out for some of you. Anyone changing their mind on the direction of this admin. yet?
I still can't bring myself to buy that new tractor i want. Need to save my nickels for the real dumper we are heading for. My brother and i went on a little site seeing trip for a week through Michigan and over the Mac bridge and back down through wis. Stopped in afew casinos to aahhhhh eat a buffet yea, eat a buffet. Well generally speaking the only people in there were very old , 70 to 90 year old gambling addicts. Guess the rec hasn't hit them to bad.
Still getting their checks i see. Still waiting to get stimulated myself.
Boy is Michigan a ghost town these days. Didn't see a whole lot of anything going on.
Well here's to hoping everyone can keep their head above water. Glad to see that we have a doer and not just a talker in the Black house. The Commander in Chief needs to start making some decisions now , i believe alot of people on both sides of the fence really beginning to wonder about this great talker leading this country to nowhere right now.
Oh well i say keep printing that money. That's the answer, just print and spend, right down the crapper.
Trying to think of any campaign promises he has kept so far. Help me out you guys can you think of any .

Your right Michigan is in bad shape. GM is supported by treasury money, Chrysler has been in bad shape for years. Unemployment is up to 15% or so now here. I am fortunate enough to have a decent job, with future orders for a while.

Upstate Michigan is always slow this time of the year. It will pick back up when the snowmobile crowd shows up. One thing about Michigan, 80% of the state population lives in 5 southern counties. Upstate Michigan is about as populated as Alaska. Has darn near the same winter also.

Still waiting on the new world. Lord external_link said was coming. Just pass this stimulus bill and everything will be fine. Heard since the first one didn't work he wants to try another one.

They run the banks, the housing industry, the car indust, soon healthcare, their gonna take over print media, and yes soon the net, (that's this forum). Most advisors are marxists and he has 43 czars on staff. This country is gonna fail if we get any more change. Oh, and a tax on guns because they're "unhealthy". Its all true

Hope+Change, Whats not to love? Quadrupal our budget deficet in a year. Along with endless printing of money untill the dollar is worthless. Abandon our troops in the field so He can go campaign for fellow nnalert, or fail at trying to get the olympics, or dance the night away at another party at the Blackhouse. Going to have Gov run health care put on us, no matter what the majority of the population wants. Watch as our country is run down into the mud just about every time he opens his mouth. While our enemys laugh at us. Can't wait to see the bigtime further sellout of the country when he goes to Copenhagen for the joke of a global warming summet. Looking into next year, We can look forward to amnesty for illegals, Cap+Tax to get passed. Unemployment looks to just keep goin up. But hey, From what I understand, We might have another 'Stimulas' coming our way. That ought to really get us going. Hope+Change my a$$.

No kiddin' about the casino's. Saw it myself last weekend in Manistee, lots of oldsters getting rid of their social security. They don't build them things on winners.
We here in Michigan have been a one trick pony(auto industry) for way too long. Now the pony's sick and we're as broke as any third world country. I don't know where it's gonna end but things have been bad here for about four years longer than the rest of the country. All that said, I'm not going anywhere. Like the old boy said "If you can't stand the winters, you don't deserve the summers"

I'd rather stir the pot than than let it boil down to garbage. I see we made it through a day with this post amazing!!!! Glad to see everyone is still fighting the battle.
I will say what i have said before a couple of times. I have never voted. I'm 50 . My reasoning was that we are diverse enough with our opinions that everything comes out in the wash in the end. It's worked just fine for my life UNTIL now.
My parent were nnalert when i grew up on the farm. As soon as they got off the farm and went into some businesses then jumped ship for the nnalert. , still are.
Kind of screwed my thinking up a little now that i look back on stuff. But the older we get the more we read. The more we communitcate, ideas are shared, this internet is wonderful!!!!!! Wow people from all over experiencing this human struggle.
I know for a fact i will be voting this coming mid elects. I have alot of friends asking what the heck can they do. VOTE like you have never voted before. Haul people to the voting booths. Heck that's how OB and clan got the job done. They hauled every breathing person they could to the polls. Heck some of them i don't think were breathin g now that i think of it.
This is my little part. Hopefully minds are starting to change that we don't need this type of change.
Yes change is coming in the Mid Term Elects, that you can believe all you free loading whiners.

The only way Bush got to be President was his daddy bought it for him.Then he screwed up the country.That left the nnalert to try and fix it.Should the nnalert do what Bush did and give it all to corporations?So the nnalert want to spend some on social programs.Why dont nnalert?If you are such a voter maybe you should tell the minority nnalert to have an agenda worth voting for and they wont stay a minority.They like you are disgusting,and will screw up a crowbar in a sandbox.So if voting is going to save us,we all need to vote for a third party,not nnalert and nnalert.Looks to me like the nnalert are still the better choice over nnalert.nnalert are now,and always were worthless.
