8N idles great - open throttle - runs horrible.

I just replaced the head and gasket. A hole blew thru the water jacket over piston #1. It's a 51 side distributor. I moved the coil from the right side to the left side. It starts on the first push, idles great, run the throttle up, runs like crap........ I took the carb apart again (third time) cleaned and put back together. NO CHANGE...... "HELP"

In response your baby Ford running bad; you might have a plugged inlet filter in the carb or fuel line, or most probably the vent in the fuel tank is plugged full of s77t. The vent is in the upper front part of the tank.

Power jet may need adjustment. Its not factory fixed and it can need a different setting for each fuel.

How does the spark look? Is the advance working?
I'd also take a propane torch and check for vacuum leaks on the carb/manifold. Just run the propane (no flame) around all the joints. If it picks up speed you found the leak...
Another possibility... Do you have an inline fuel filter? Yes? Get rid of it.
Inline filters don't work well in gravity systems.

your condenser is bad. at low RPM it can store enough energy to make a good spark but at higher engine speed it can't hold enough energy to make a good hot spark. change the condenser

I'll bet yor are right on the condenser. I have seen that in the past. The last time it happened to me it was in my 54 chevy flat bed. Stan

WHY did you move the coil away from the distributor?

How long is the coil wire? What types of wire did you use for the new coil wire... metallic core or carbon-core suppression wire?

I replaced the head and gasket. I had to move the coil to a spot that would allow mounting. The wire is possibly a foot or less. The wire is wound "solid" wire. New points, new condenser, plugs, etc.

Check the coils polarity. If tractor is negative ground, the negative side of the coil should be connected to the points. If positive ground the positive side of the coil is connected to the points.
