tractor covers

Does any one make covers for tractors? Tractors with high shine paint jobs, that is. Tarp with a soft inner lining is one idea I've had.

Concerned that a tarp might dull the sheen, over time. Heard of a guy who used nothing but bed sheets.

Another concern is trapping moisture and causing more rusting than normal.

Sheets directly over the paint and then a tarp over that? Serious bird dropping problem in this shed. Plastic, thus far, has done a good job of keeping off both dirt and droppings.

Prefer to cover the whole tractor so as to protect tires/wheels too.

I've found good even multi-layer coats of protective mud/dust/grease/manure will prevent bird droppings from reaching the paint. YMMV

I bought one years ago for my 39 B John Deere, I think it was called Iron cover, it has been great, I do not know if they are still in business, they were from Iowa I think.

As long as it is stored inside, I use a 19 dollar car cover from Wall Mart. Works good Lets paint breath. Not water proof though. Bernie Steffen
