Hello Everyone,
I attended a farm machinery and collectible auction near Winner ,SD and here are some of the prices.......this all farming and hunting land and there seems to be plenty of money around.

JD 50 nf........$1900
JD 50 wf.........$2000
1964 JD 3020 D , ps.....$6400
1964 JD 3020 D, ps a little better ...$6600
1993 JD7600 2 wheel drive 1300 hours perfect........$48,000
1991 JD 4455 mfwd with mounted 1984 JD 280 loader.......sold as a unit, only 1400 hours , perfect..........$94,500........that's right $94,500
1949 Chevrolet Deluxe car , ready to drive any where.......$8,600...........

I have seen several of the 55 series sell the last year. They seem to be going pretty crazy here lately, but I have not seen any go near that high.

Assuming it's the same auction, do you by chance know what the '64 Olds 88 sold for? Was gonna try to get up to that auction but as usual, other plans got in the way.
 
wow! somebody has a lot of money!! it must have been a special one, maybe the first or last one built. idk thats an awful lot of money.
 
Sure, the 1964 Olds Dynamic sold for $7,900, and it rode away on a trailer with 13 county nebraska plates......I can't even tell what county that is.......as for the 4455 so many people said that the 55 series was better then any thing that came after it............that they would never let one as nice as this one get away.......two guys grimly nodding the last $20,000 of the way..............made for a good show !!!!

Thanks! That Olds musta been pretty nice. Been looking for something similar but that one was waaaay outta my price range!

I don't have a clue where 13 county in NE is either, and I know quite a few of 'em. I'm from 66 county myself.
