Installing milo guards

anyone ever used the ABM flexo guards? I need insight into how the clips are supposed to be installed on the header. Thanks

Not familiar with that brand. We have been using Richardson milo guards since the 1950's. Are they similiar? The Richardson guards are strictly clamp-on, no bolts necessary. I could send pics if you want.

Sort of like extended fingers with some springs that hold the head for cutting and keep it from falling to the ground instead of into the platform auger.

They are the Richardson guards, but I can't get the clip into the clasp, it would have to stretch 2". Am I missing something?
