While doing chores yesterday, I noticed that the horses were hairin' up.

Woke this morning to frost on the roof. Here we go again. :>(

yep now its time to think back and remember when we were talking bad about the heat of summer. Love this fall weather. Crisp apples, trees changing color and cuddleing with my baby!
 
Frost? Last Monday we had ten inches of snow. I"m glad I got done baling hay Saturday. I have too much to do to have that stuff allready.
 
Yeah it's gonna be one of those days down here in Texas.

Used the truck's defroster on the windshield this morning; will be using the truck's "chiller" this afternoon.
 
It was cooler here this morning than it was for a lot of ya'll up north. Temp this a.m. was 51.

Noticed last evening, my horses are showing winter coats, too.

Sun's shining today, so like James' said, we'll be running the chiller this afternoon.
 
Have not seen the horses since last week, did not seem to have any of that yet, I always watch the deer, been cool at night, some have turned gray and probably starting to thicken up, yep that time of year, now if I could just fast forward through mid Dec to mid March, LOL !!!
 
Ours are getting a little plushy too. We are at about 900 ft elevation. Stud colt is getting picked up Sunday to go to about 3800 ft near the Alps. He's gonna need mittens and a hat for a few days I guess :roll:

Hey Allan Has the leaves changed color on your tree yet ?? ---LOL [just joking]

I was wishing I had a camera today with me to show you some Pa farms a little further east of me with the colors and smaller fields that you can actually see the ends of. and get more than one field in the pic.
 
One morning of frost so far this year. Yesterday it was 90 and today in the 80's. I still like fall the best of all the seasons. Garden is still producing. Bud
