Got out a Farmall 340 of dads last weekend to sell. Been in shed maybe 10yrs. And the stupid engine is stuck tight. Best I can figure is the two cyls with exhaust valves open sweated and condensed in the cyls and rusted. Stored in A good polebarn with concrete floor. Trying soaking, but see a tear down coming.

No, get whatever is in there and pour ATF in each spark plug hole. Go away for a month, then try the crank.

Put in "Kroil" whatever that is. And marvel mystery oil, because, I guess the mystery is why buy it. And plain oil. We'll see.

If it were sitting in a pole born it couldn't of gotten much moisture inside of it unless the coollant seeped into the cylinders. I would drain the engine oil and make sure there is no water or coolant in it first. I've used rifle bore cleaner and I've seen it work on rusted machinery over night. See if your local Army surplus store has any and try that.

First make sure there is NO water or other liquids in the cylinders then FILL them with ATF and also if you can pour it down the exhaust and let it sit. DO NOT try to pull it to pop it free but do use a 12 volt battery and short fast taps of the starter. BTDT and 90% of the tractors I get are locked up and 95% I never open up to get running and I have 8 tractors in the hay field right now and at least 3 of them where locked up when I got them and they do there jobs just like the others do

common on a tractor thats been sitting, but being that its been shedded its probably not stuck real bad, pull the plugs, and push a short piece of rope in the holes, and remove this is to see if the engine has standing water in the cylinders, if it does big trouble and might as well tear it down if not and im betteng not, you can use marvel mystery oil or atf or even diesel fuel pour it in the spark plug hole and put the plugs back in walk away for a week, 2 would be better, let the fluid work, then remove the plugs, start by truning the engine over by hand try both directions until you get movement, then just keep on until you get a complete revolution in the normal running direction, then try the starter to spin the engine over , when it spins free, then install new plugs and anything else needed to start the engine including new oil , when it does fire it will smoke like a railroad locomotive until it burns all that fluid out of the engine muffler ect, once that has happened then you can evaluate what else it will need
