Firing Order in a Hercules Gas Engine 1XA3 in a Cletrac C...

Can you help me?
I been working on a 1942 Cletrac Crawler and need the Timing and Firing order it has a Hercules Gas Engine 1XA3 4 cl. L Head.

I think it should be 1-2-4-3. You should bring No1 piston to TDC on the compression stroke then see where the rotor is pointing. That's where you install your No1 plug wire. I think the rotor turns CCW so then install No2, No4 & No3. Hal

From the IXA3 manual I have. It shows firing order as 1-2-4-3 for a standard engine. For counter clockwise engines it is 1-3-4-2.
