What's This For?? Fast Hitch Adaptors

Hey Guys,

I picked up these 3 pt adaptors for a Fast Hitch at an auction this morning.

What's the little slider things for??

Got an IH Fast Hitch Carryall at the same sale:

Not a very good picture, it's under a 2 pt cultivator. I didn't think to take a pic while I had it outside.

Anyhoo, thanks for any help on the adaptors.

I have a set of adaptors like yours. The sliders tighten the prong up in the 2 pt. Slide them in until they lock and then tap the slider in to tighten the adaptor in the 2 pt. yoke.

OK, You made me wonder so much I just went out and measured them. I figured they were cat 1 but the hole is 1 1/4" diameter. There isn't a [i:e7d99d22ee]ball[/i:e7d99d22ee] in there, is it that size so you can slide the swivel in there??

I only paid $6 for the pair & single orphan point so I'm good no matter what.
