Does anyone know how to determine the age of a DLT 3000 serial # 041704D007678? I got no responce on the garden tractor sight.

If it has a Briggs engine look for the Code number, usually around the spark plug area or on top of engine. There will be 3 sets of numbers, the first 2 numbers in the Code is the date of manufacture of the engine. If it is the original engine then that would probably be the date of the mower.
