So lets take a moment to remember the 3,000 innocent people killed in New York on this date...

The sickening part is that we are still over there "trying" to kill the terrorists.

If Patton, or Eisenhower were running the show the war would have lasted a month and it would be over.

Nuff said.

Living north of 49 I find it very surprising that a school could neglect to take a few moments to remember such a horrible act of terrorism.Since you say you're still in school I'm assuming you were at most no older than 12 at the time, but it shook the whole world that day.I'm sure you remember it all too well even though you were very young.I still remember everything I was doing that day and where I was when I saw it on television.I just couldn't believe what I saw.I don't believe we (Canadians are involved in Afganistan as well, not so much Irac) will ever win that war the way it's being faught. The only way to get all the terrorists would be murder every resident in the entire country, but that would be a hollicost.God bless all those souls who tragically lost their lives on that day and at war.

It's hard to believe we can't pour water on a few heads to keep this from happening again. I think this adminstration is opening up the chance for another attack. It would be interesting to be able ask a few of the jumpers what they thought about our "torture" methods. I can't emagine how bad it would be to jump from the towers to escape being burned to death. Let us not forget. Stan

Glad to see that a young man remembers what today is all about, "A DAY OF REMEMBERANCE" and not a day of service. Will not get political.

One thing I would like to add. Although terrible this happened to us We are healing from this tragedy some has built a monument that will live on to show that.
Here are some pics of the USS New York built from the World Trade Center steel.

Notice the twin towers on the ship.

Bless you for remembering, Lanse. Eight years ago our enemies came from foreign countries and now they come from within. The occupant of our own white house hates the America I love. I am glad to see a young man remember and respect the memory because once all of us with these memories are gone, and after they have "cleansed" the history books, no one will know.

What about the indoctrination of the school children... did you start that one too..
Right on the ball there.

You gave George W four years to stuff up the Country, he just didn't manage it , so you gave him a further four to complete the job.
Successfully it appears.

Bendee -- judging from your posts it has long been obvious that you are an idiot, now I know why.

You know, when you become a citizen of this country I will give a twit about your opinion. Your total outlook has been formed by the drive by media, since you don't have the opportunity to actually live in this country and see things as they actually happened. It is astounding someone who has no idea what they are talking about, would have such an opinion of an American president who WE elected to serve 2 terms. Just maybe you should restrict your responses to a subject you know anything about.

Lanse: So you have new smells at the new house, and they are different then the farm smells huh.
Keep your chin up, and I hope you enjoy the new location.

And all this cra& about us "tortureing" the terrorists gets me. If I had been captured by the Germans, nnalert, N. Vietnmeese, or the terrorists I would be happy if the only torture that happened to me was what I have heard we did to the terrorists. And let's not forget Pearl Harbor either. I fear that as that generation dies away that Pearl Harbor will be forgotten. We need to remember that there have been and still are people in the world that don't like us and want us dead.

It's taken a long time for some of the sharp edges of this event to slightly dull in my mind, having been close by when it occurred. For some it is not that way, for others, it may slowly distance itself, but one thing is for sure we will never forget the loss of life, and the suffering of all those families at the hands of the most cowardice people on this planet. We will also never forget those who are working diligently on foreign soil, to root out these cowards, and those that have sacrificed their life for this cause, now and generations before.

mods in love with bho deleted my previous post. perhaps they will love their new acccomodations as slaves in the socialist regime they protect from FREEDOM OF SPEECH.
