Inquiry for manual for McCormick D214

Dear Sirs,

My neighbor is owner of one very old tractor McCormick D214. He is looking for some manual for general repair and adjustment of the tractor. Since in Serbia, where we live, this type of tractor is very rare one there is no chance to find help here. So, I've tried to download from the net any instruction but found nothing.

I kindly request you to instruct me shortly about address where I can find manual in electronic or paper form.

My guess is that a D214 is a Neuss, Germany built tractor. You may find more info on this web site: http://www.mccormick-freunde.de/startpage.htm

Suggest look in Ebay (germany) as there many reprints available and occasionally original owner manuals, parts books and service manuals listed. Search for D-214, ihc or mccormick

I have the parts list for all D series but my shop manuals are for 3 and 4 cylinder models.... about 500 MB though. I can send you a CD (just charge you for postage), but you're probably better off ordering from the other site and get just what you want . They are in German and English, is your German good enough to order?

I found all the manuals in German only.
German is OK for me, but my neighbor prefers English. I will help hem when needed.

I am glad to hear that you are ready to send me the spare part manual, but I prefer manuals just for the right tractor type.

Parts manuals are for the complete D series (2,3, and 4 cyl) Shop manuals are for 2 cyl, then 3&4 together. I'll see what I can find.
