beer joint we fondly refered to as the Bloated
Goat.

Born and raised in Dallas Oregon, 53 years. Dallas is where Jessie Applegate started out to find a better route than the one he came on when he came to Oregon. The Oregon Trail overland instead of down the mighty Columbia....James

Yes that courageous Man came and made war on women and children taking everything of value and burning their homes. He came to Edisto Island where I grew up for the express purpose of getting rid of the people he freed that were following His army. He brought them over on barges and left them, hundreds of them died at the wharf about a mile from our house. What a hero.

Mankato Mn. South central part of state. Home of the largest mass execution in U.S. history. We hung 38 Sioux Indians that started the Indian uprising in the 1860's. In their defence we are now admitting we drove them to it by swindling them out of large amounts of land and promicing them compensation that we never followed through with.

i wish for those years again, ive benn in the area for the last 37 years, when i moved here ruidoso was the small town dream, frendly folks neat public activities to attend good teachers in the schools deep snow in winter warm summers to go fishin in now newbies have moved in, took over the town built up tall buildings that are in violation of almost every building code in the books, no problem they just made new codes to cover them, after the buildings were built, the former mayor showed up as sales representative at one of the largest while he was still in office, no conflict of intrest there lol, the street dept hasnt paved a road in 4 years, but all the administrative staff have at least 2 assistants with new pickups to do whatever it is there supposed to be doing nobody seems to know just what their job is, they have made ruidoso a wreck, its nothing like it was at all, i try not to go into town unless i have to,

She still talks, in fact my in-laws live right next door. Unfortunatly, Baby Bullet is gone, too many people climbing over him broke his back!. The Case steam engine is in a very nice display in the park. The semi with the replica of the Worlds Fair cheese, just disappeared. They were going to give it a cosmetic restoration, but it never came back.

In Illinois, not far from Peoria. Of course, you don't really live in Illinois. Just exist from one tax increase to another. Or waiting for the next Governor to be jailed.
