Used tractor values

Have a Ford 4110 and an OC46 track loader on the place. Realistically have less and less, almost no use for either one at my age.

Friend says let him know if and when I am ready to sell. Where can I obtain realistic price values on either of these machines? Neither are in prime condition but can still be used and do work when put to the test.

I know...sale price is whatever buyer is willing to pay but we have to start somewhere and I am NOT one to go the OBO route. Puts buyer in the position of being both seller and buyer.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

try looking each up on external_link and you will see what dealers are asking for similar models, also fastline.com

There might be some info on Cletrac.org; they cover the Oliver OC"s as well as Cletrac"s. Good luck.

Amen for not going best offer route!! YOu can look on line and in books and find some in similar condition and price accordingly.

Greg Peterson over at Successful Farming Magazine has a book called "The Rust Book" It has auction prices that have been gathered for years and will give a honest evaluation of the worth of a piece of equipment.
