Here is kind of a facinating, inspirational video about the quality of people that are involved in the ag industry. Sorry it is not tractor related, but I know many of us "Keep a few cows around" or grew up with them. Hope you enjoy!

Last 14 years of my work, involved working with Physically Handicapped, M/H, M/R .

Even people with a collage education could learn from some.

Men like the one on this video are not handicapped, just physically challenged.

Thanks for sharing.
 
Many years ago there was a young woman in one of my computer courses that was a handicapped, single mother.

She told me one day of her challenges as a child/teenager through public schools/education.

She laughed and said "Just because I can't ride a bicycle doesn't mean I'm stupid".

The young man, Clinton, in this video reminded me of that young woman.

Clinton obviously isn't going to let his physical handicap interfere with his goals in life.

Good young man; we need more like him.

I seen that one morning the last week or two on AgDay. Hit me pretty hard. My best friend has a 7 year old daughter with CP.

Real nice. Kid reminds me of my neighbor's friemd when growing up. Didn't know what it was called then, but he must have had the same problem. He didn't need a walker, but walked like he had rags for legs and his arms were a little goofy. Never stopped him from anything though. We were putting hay one day. He was driving the tractor and the rest of us were throwing bales and stacking. He stopped on a yellow jacket's nest and made them mad. Most of us got stung and were running/swatting, heard a scream and a bunch of cussing and Tom passed us all. We forgot to help him off and he was mad for awhile, but we all learned that he had a little more capabilities than he let on sometimes........... Sure miss them days.
