O.T. oldest equptment

Just a conversation starter. What is the oldset running equptment you have ever seen. 3 catagories. 1. Stationary 2.moble (non railed) 3.railed (locomotive).
For me I would have to say it's the 1790's hot air engines at Rolag mn for the stationary. And for moble I would have to say a 1901 tracklaying steam tractor used to pull logs out of the woods. Railed I would have to check on some mfg dates.

Seen a lotta Old Stuff , nephew and i recently awakened a 1944 SC Case from a 15 yr slumber,, He will Rake some more with it Today ... Yesterday got a special treat , thanx to the Corn andSoybean ALLIANCE , Rode the BELLE of LOUISVILLE upriver on a nice morning cruise.. she was built in Pittsburg in 1914, and continues running today . Just as Smooth as a fine SWISS watch ,under the attention of the Loving Crew who tends her every need , I told the guys in the Engine room , You guys Are Very Lucky , And they Smiled and AGREED .. Booneville In. has a turn of the century All fuel engine with a 8ft. flywhheel that used to pump water for the town of Ferdinand..

Dont know the age of the equipment but the Amish in my area use technology from 100 years plus or so ago. . . Ive seen everything from a steam engine (think it was a big old case) running the threshing machine to all of the woodworking/machining tools running on a belt drive system. Guess the belt drive is a combination of new and old, as most places have a diesel motor powering the belt system vs. whatever was used years ago. You will also see them out in the field with the horse drawn wheat cutters/binders that they have to make their own parts for. . . the company that originally made them is long out of business or does not supply parts anymore because of the age of the equipment. Very interesting lifestyle. . .
