I have a 04 Bobcat 220 has 1000 hrs on it. wanted to drain all fluids, hyd, chaincase, etc.Checked on a drain for coolant could not find one, note on radiator states to use only Propylene Glycol, not the Ethylene Glycol. Called dealer was told yes no drain on radiator or on the engine to pull top radiator off drain as much as possible and refill with the Propylene stuff, did not want to use the red or gold stuff wanted to use the green as that is the same as everything else that I use. Sorry for being so longwinded, waswondering if anyone else came across this same problem with no drain on the engine block or radiator, was told not to mix the coolants Thanks in advance

Remove bottom radiator hose and let drain that way. Also flush with water.

Absolutely do not mix antifreeze. Use ONLY propylene glycol.

got to be a block drain somewhere, may not be obvious mabye just a plug to remove. your's is a later model than I'm familiar with but I never saw one that you couldn't drain the coolant. Bottom hose will get the most out.

Ethylene should banned and Propylene used.
Propylene is not poisonous, they drench cows with it.
If the engine develops a coolant leak into the lube oil. Propylene will not ruin the engine.

Less than ethylene. You should hose the stuff off anyways.I would be worried about mud, manure, bird crap, sun exposure and general dents, scrapes, nicks etc in the paint.
If the stuff was aggressive? Would it not eat the pump, sleeve seals, gaskets and copper rad away?

The cheapest to get the proplyene glycol is the sierra brand in the green jug with the golden retreiver on the front. It"s like $10/gal while bobcat is about $26/gal.

Do what John730D suggested, I use that method to drain the coolant from my antique 1981 Mercury Cougar and it doesn't take very long. Hal
