Dodge Clutch Cylinders.

'01 Dodge 3500 Cummins 6 speed. Clutch is leaking down when pressed. Takes about a minute to leak down and engage. No fluid leaks visible. Any guess as to which one? Master, slave or should I just get the prefilled set and replace?

Bad MASTER cylinder lets clutch leak down WITHOUT peeing fluid on the ground.

Bad SLAVE cylinder pees fluid on the ground as the clutch is leaking down.

Master cyl. most likely. last one I did, i wished i'd changed the whole assy.bleeding is a real pain,because of the angle the cyl. mounts to firewall-- air stays trapped in end--i couldn,t get all the air out til i unbolted & tipped down,used mity-vac on res.to burp out that last bubble--good luck--paul

If it were mine id replace the whole system. Then it just an R&R job and wont have to worry about trapped air.
