powerlift stuck

Just recently bought a 4000 Ford and seems to be a great tractor (only 4400 hrs. and it looks it). After bushoging about 40 acres with it and starting to the barn the power lift starting raising the hog higher and higher until it reached the top position, I have been unable to lower it, lowering handle has no effect on it. It has been three days now and it's still up. Any idea what happened? Thanks.

Could be your powerlift valve is stuck.
They used to have different types ,oversize
Broken lever/springs inside?
Check out your three point top link ,the draft control can be stuck

I had the same thing happen on my JD 2030 pulled the rockshaft off and found a pin had come out. but it could be a broken spring or O ring inside also. You will need to pull your rockshaft assembly off to find out what is wrong with yours.
