Winter wheat

I planted a couple of acres of winterwheat last fall. It did quite well this year around 70 bushels to the acre.
I can clean and plant that seed this fall???? Correct??
Just want to make sure.

Farmer

All the time I was growing up Dad bought some certified seed wheat every two years. We had one ben that was filled each year for the fall planting. He sold some seed wheat to neighbors each fall. He took the seed wheat to the Coops to be cleaned and treated. I can only remember one year that we treated our own wheat on a waggon with a scoop shovel.
He always would count out 100 kernels of wheat and place them between milk strainer pads soaked with water to check germination.

Since you are planting this fall, it will get it's cold treatment (vernalizing (sp)while growing. Just cold on the seed will not work. Has to be the plant.
