I'm out here by Perry. Don't know the exact amount of rain this last week, but we sure needed it.!!!! The grass has grown an inch a day for the last few days. We had to get at least 2 inches i would think. Back to grazing the better halfs goats, n horses. Had to break out a roll of grass a week ago.

Just bored killing time till i can get back to the Illinois farm.

I drove from Myrtle Beach to Charlotte. Those guys needed rain on their corn pretty bad.

Farmer, we had just over 1 1/2 inches here North of Atlanta last week, longer slower rain would have been better, but at this point we'll take anything

Looking for rain and warmth in Ontario. 2-1/2" total in July. The oats are now filling out after 1-1/4" of rain a week ago and 1/4" last night. The straw is short with the white oats being knee high.
The corn is also short and leaves were starting to curl until the rain.Rare to find any corn mature enough to tassel.

Have a BIL in Central MN. he is crying for rain. He has about 20 acres of soybeans, he says thank god he only does it for a hobby now. He says he probably couldn't sleep at night if he had a couple hundred acres. He says beans are 6 inches to 20 inches depending where ya stand on the 20 acre hill.
