ooopps....wrong fertilizer

seems like sludge waste isnt quite the right fertilizer to use at the white house. a lot of farms in this area were spreading the municipal sludge for fertilizer, but can only have a max of 3 applications ever for the farm. sod farms seem to use a lot tho.

To my understanding human sludge is basically useless as a fertilizer. It is sterilized which leaves it with a analysis of 0-0-0. The neighbor has some spread this spring and where the county piled it in the field there is no corn. They brought it in and spread it each day so that can't be good if it can do that much damage that quick. My guess is it sterilized the soil too. Plus like mentioned in the link it adds a lot of lead and other heavy metals.

Sterilised does not mean it has no NPK value. I looked it up and it varies between 1 to 4 %.
