Wiring a Charger to a mobility scooter

Guess I don't understand the question. Is the scooter 24 volt? Just positive to positive, negative to negative, like any other battery charging operation. If scooter is some other voltage, your best bet is to simply get a charger to match. You could change the voltage with a transformer, which would cost more than just getting the proper charger.

i have to take off the wire to the scooter to charge the battery if you don't know how to isolate the scooter from the batterys then you can't help me

If you want a detailed answer, it's not a good idea to ask a general question...... What if you just cut the wire you have to disconnect and put a switch in it? If you are disconnecting the wire in order to have something to hook the charger to, I'd still use the switch but splice in a terminal or something to hook up to (make sure you can cap or tape it when not in use. If you have room and they make one, you could remove the clamps of a small trickle charger and splice it in. Just plug it in as needed.

Hope that is more like what you expect for help......
