Ashault post paint for Implement trl.

Someone suggested I paint the deck of my implement trailer with asphalt post paint. Where can I find that? No fence outfit around here has ever heard of it. Thanks

If you ever have to lay down on your trailer to hook a chain, cable or strap you won't be happy with it if i am thinking of the same stuff. It will stay on you and can burn your skin I think.

The cheap way to paint it black and protect it is the black fence paint that TSC sells;its lacquer, for about $35 for 5 gallons. Must be retinted leftover auto paint that they outlawed. Works, good.

not to mention lets off on everything, id just use a good exterior house paing if you have a wood trailer deck and recoat as nessassary

Hi Don,

I sure wouldn't put that on my trailer deck as it'll always get on everything you haul on the deck as it gets soft in the sun.

Roofing mastic thinned with gas makes good fence post coating.

My son had a trailer sprayed with bed liner sealer. He said that worked excellent.

My Texas trailer mfg said 50/50 mix of diesel/used MO lasted about the best.

You'll have a lifetime of stained hands, shoes, and clothes, worse in summer and just plain out nasty because it will collect any dirt. Not to mention how dirty your tires will get.
