Rain update in Wi. 2

Thanks to all you that keep wishing rain on me. We have recieved 3 plus inches this week. thats more than we have recieved in the last four months combined. I am loving it. Things are already starting to green up again, keep sending more. I don't care if my hay gets rained on at this point;>)

I'll send some of the 2.5 inches we got here in Mass. your way last night. Many guys haven't gotten 1st cut done yet as we had rain almost all of June. Something like 28 days of the month had some rain.

Its always amazed me that all the foliage can be brown and ugly, you get a good rain and almost over night everything turns green again. Hope you get another 3 in. slowly so it soaks in!

send it south to the texas gulf coast cj i know how you feel no rain here since april
turned the cattle in the hay patch but if we get rain i can uaually bale up to mid december

What part of WIS are you in? We're in Green Lake/Marquette counties and in FOUR days of rain we still are way short of .5 inches. What color is green??

Nw corner of the state, if you look on a map it is called the Indianhead area, this part of the state looks like an Indian in profile and I live right in his nose, we are still feet!!!! below normal for the last five years, but things have to change sometime. Here's hoping this is the start of change for the better.

Keep sending it across the lake. Got an inch and a half over the last 2 days. Cold front is supposed to give us more tonight. Forcast is for the same pattern through all next week. Not great news if you have wheat, but sure helps the corn, hay and pastures.

Got 0.7" Tuesday night/Wednesday. Supposed to to get some more tomorrow. Got my wheat combined just before the rain, now if we could get the straw baled..... Sure made the beans and corn look better.

Not far from you and we only got .5 inches this week and that is all we have gotten since June 27.
Normal now is around 1 inch per week.
At least we have now had enough to take a chainsaw out in the woods in the morning.

In the Mississippi river valley, near LaCrosse,
West Central WI. Yesterday it rained for the first
time since June 20-a total of .45/100.
