International Cub Lo-boy....what color???

I just bought a 1958 Cub Lo-boy, always thought they were the neatest looking tractors. Now all I need are a B and a M to have the whole letter series line-up. I'm not sure what color to paint the wheels, it is late enough to have a white grill and hood( behind the emblems) but does that mean the wheels are white too, like some I've seen, or do the wheels stay red? I also need to find first if it was yellow because I see a lot of yellow under the red, but I also see orange, blue and green. Thanks for any help.

Now, I'm not a member of the "correct police," but as I recall, all the Cubs and Lo-Boys that came out prior to the introduction of the 4-bar grille in '59 had red wheels. Yellow Cubs and Lo-Boys had the white wheels, of course.

And IH used a primer on a lot of the tractors in the '50's/early '60's--or at least on replacement castings and such--that was similar to Federal Yellow, but without the gloss factor.

I worked for IHC Advertising from 1959 to 1968 and the Cub Low boys first came out in federal Hiway Yellow but later on some were painted traditional IHC Red. I don't have a clue of the #'s painted each way and how many but I know of many complaints from buyers wanting the traditional IHC Red on the cib Lo-boy they were to buy so the company fulfilled thier wishes. My friend up the road has a red Cub Lo-boy with a front blade about a 1962 Model.
