Don't know what 'ol Grandad would've thought about this monster. Probably would've just shook his head and commented on how farming and technology had passed him by. He baled 5 million bales on a Farmall H, and he wasn't one to exaggerate.

Many of you have probably already seen this, but I just stumbled across it yesterday. I think they make these just south of me here in Indy, down around Columbus Indiana, as I see a couple parked along I-65 in front of the Claas place.

I think Allan needs one of these for his big field. Then think of the baler it would take to bale it and the fleet of truck to haul it away.

Ya, but all his RED equipment is so much purtier.

Plus, I think he told me one time that he only gets one cutting a year, although that may change this year. A lot of machine for that, no matter how many acres.

Helluva contraption though, isn't it?
 
In that situation color is not to be considered , where s the keys !! Now if I can find a place to turn this thing around .
 
Holy crap! If I did the math right it will knock down a little under 80 acres an hour at 100% effiency. Takes me an hour to do 3 acres on a good day!
 
There was a used one for sale in TractorHouse, maybe a couple of issues ago. Think they wanted $299,000 for it?
 
They have a couple of those here in Mi. They follow it with a self propelled chopper with 2 500 hp M-B diesels.
