Longest tractor drive?

Today a friend of mine left town in a Chamberlain tractor on a 5700km (3600 mile) trip around Queenland, Australia to raise money for charity. He'll be away for about six weeks. This would have to be one of the longest tractor drives I've ever heard of. My personal best is about 100km. (60 miles). Just wondering what is the longest drive you've done or heard of? Here's a link for a bit more info on my friend if you're interested.

A few years ago a couple brought their John Deere A and homemade camper to one of our shows in Ohio. They had made a trip to Alaska and back. Can't say how many miles, but had to be over 10,000... Gene

Have a customer that drove two 980B CAT wheel loaders nearly 150 miles to get them back to his quarry after purchasing them. A large part of the trip was straight up I-85 through Carlotte. Imagine meeting something like that on the road. Said they were passed by several SHP's who just looked and drove on with the strangest expressions on thier faces.

A local old timer, now passed away, drove his John Deere B about 15 miles to the dealer. He wanted it tuned up - said it was missing badly. The mechanic walked around the old tractor slowly with his hands clasped behind his back. He stopped at the side and reached over and re-attached the dangling spark plug wire. Little John smoothed out and ran like a sewing machine.

Old Leonard said, "We made passenger train time going home."

I would have never told that story on myself. Leonard had a good sense of humor.

Met a guy who drove an MM G from Outlook Sask. to near Niagara Falls. Saw him when he had about 100 miles to go. Rear tires were totally whipped.

Had a friend tell me about following the wheat harvest years ago. At the end of harvest, they were in Colorado and had all the trucks loaded with machinery, but had a Massey Harris 55 left over.
Drove it non-stop day and night back to Cache, OK.
