Son finished baling at midnight was swathed and conditioned and preservative applied the evening before. Temperatures were 112 degree dropping to 95 when the sun went down. Humidity 38% up to 52%. Checked hay moisture with moisture tester and was tat 15% when he started Humidity was about 42% when he started baling. They had a breakdown on the Hesston 452 so that morning he moved Ruby Red his rebuild NH 86 some 30 miles to bale prairie hay then moved her back to bale this Alfalfa. You can see the bale of prairie hay that was in the baler in the load. Water is going on right now. Right now it averages six ton per acre on three cuttings. Going for two more cutting. Not a record but a good yield.

Looks like a good cutting of alfalfa; no misstaking the prairie grass bale.

Y"all take it easy in that OK heat; glad it doesn"t get that hot in TX.

Enjoyed the PowerPoint presentation you sent yesterday.
