Ford 801 Injector Pump

We are working on a Ford 801 diesel tractor 4 cyl. It has not run for a couple of years and will not start. We have fuel to the pump but it will not pump it up to the injectors. It appears like something in the pump is stuck. It has a ROOSA MASTER pump model #DBGVCC429. Would anyone have a breakdown diagram of this pump.

Larry how long have you been priming? I ran mine out of fuel last summer and it took about 90 mins. of cranking to prime up to the injectors. Allowing cooling time for starter of course.

My 4 cyl diesel is very hard to bleed also. I usually have to have another tractor with juper cables hooked up in order to do it.

Thanks for the information. We have never worked on a Ford diesel before. We hadn't been priming it all that long. Sounds like we just need to be patient and keep working at it.

I have another question for you. We have not been able to locate a serial number on this tractor. Do you know where the serial number on your 801 is located?
