Another New One

Just wanted to finally jump in here and give an introduction and say hey. Posted on here several times. Seems to be a clean and mature web site. Really have enjoyed it so far. Have learned WAY more than I could ever contribute. Been a vetran of the wrench wars on cars for 25 years. Born and raised in farming communities. A friend of mine invited me to a tractor show with him 4 years ago and since then the bug has bitten. After a day of dealing with what japan and detroit has to crank out, I really enjoy comming home to my pet projects. Working on a Wisconsin with a bad cam. Got a 50 John Deere waiting on a restoration. All in good time. Hope I"m welcome

Welcome aboard!! What is the Wisconsin in?
We have several Owatonna swathers that are powered by Wisconsins, one has a 4 cyl Chevy.

It's a twin cyl. THD off a bailer. Gonna be on a small irrigation pump when it's done. Hope to find one at the Paris show or Brooksville Ind later this year.

what can you tell me about clutches on tjd Bought a clutch on a trip junk motor looked the same got home my block is smaller Is there an adapter????

This website is somewhat like a sign that used to be at the city limits of Hartford Ky.
Welome to Hartford. Home to 2000 happy people, and a few soreheads.

Thanks all for the welcome. For Wilson; I don't really know alot about the clutch adaptors on the TJD. I would think they would all be about the same, however my experience with the reduction adaptors on the smaller ones is that they are all different according to serial #s. I'm glad you told me this because i'm going to be more selective with the #s on the parts eng. for the THD I'm looking for. Thanks
