OT -- 39 years Today

Just wanted to share with my friends out there , that's it been 39 years today my wife and I got married ...
We had GOOD times and BAD times , but we DIDN'T give up ...
Never went to bed MAD at each-other .

Going to add a picture of her tractor , that I bought her for Valtines Day a few years back ..

Congratulations; have never understood the "never went to bed mad" thing. Been married 43 years and they've mostly been good, but........I try to sleep at least a little bit every 24 hours; if we'd never gone to bed 'mad', we'd both be walking zombies.

Seeing the old Case reminds me of the sweet little 17 year very petite girl I dated in 1958. Her dad had a DC and a Ford Woods Brothers twine baler with an engine. He let her bale hay to make money to buy school clothes. I was much interested in the tractor, perhaps more so than in the girl (silly me!) I asked her how many gears it had as I was not familiar with a Case and after thinking a bit sha answered. "A first, a second, a third, a fourth, a neutral, and a reverse. So I guess it has 6" Her daddy did not like me much.

Congratultions Dutchman on 39 years. Best to the wife and tractor. We are on 44. All I got from my 17 year old wife was Chevy 1958 with 348. I had ford 352. Maybe we should have tried drag race. It has been so good, we forgot the bad. Dave
