$16m. stimulous for a mouse???

I hadn't heard that one. I had heard and read about $30 million, down from the originally requested $50 million for the "salt water swamp mouse of san francisco" amongst other things, but not this mouse. I'm not joking about that either. As a matter of fact, I recall a certain senior NY Senator saying on video at the time that folks don't care about these kinds of things. Yep, I can still see and hear him saying that. Oh well, couple of mice being chauferred around in rolls royces drinking champagne at tax payer expense while folks lose their jobs and homes ans stuff. You and me keep our money (taxes) and use it for our families or what we see best to use it for as opposed to politicians taking and using it for what they know better than us? Don't kid me. Elections do have consequences, and we as a nation (not me) voted for this, are getting what we (not me) voted for, and deserve every bit of what we're getting. How stimulating is that?

If its any consolation, I heard a report last night breaking down the proposed socialized medicine program showing stuff like earmarks for street lights at playgrounds, walk paths through woods, stuff like that. And...that Waxman Markey "cap and tax" bill that the House voted "yes" for two Fridays ago, all 1,300 pages of it along with another 300 pages of admendments 3 attached to it hours before voting on it, that not one member of the House read...the one that's supposed to creat jobs we're told, green jobs...has language in it that will provide those that lose their jobs due to that bill with 70% of their pay for up to 3 years at tax payer expense. So, instead of allowing those folks to keep and work their jobs at 100% of their pay that we consumers would fund, politicians decided to delete their jobs and have we taxpayers pay them 70% of the same pay for up to 3 years to sit around doing nothing. Not a good deal? Elections do have consequences, and we are reaping those consequences as a nation. Congratulations are in order for us. Woo Hoo, and Yee Haw.

Its Friday morning, and you've already got my blood pressure up to the roof, and I'll probably die of a heart attack before noon. Thanks for stimulating me.
