hydraulic pump

I have a 1955 international 300 with a superior brand loader the pump mounts in the front and runs off the crank I was wondering if I need a clockwise or counterclockwise pump

Looking at the shaft end of the pump, COUNTERCLOCKWISE.

I guess were goimg to have to put this up for a vote.i disagree... you need a ccw pump.looking at the engine from the front,the engine turns clockwise.therefore the pump will need to turn ccw

For some unknown reason I can never think of the rotation direction of an engine, so I have to remember which way I pull the crank to start it. It's kind of an easy way to figure things out. Jim

Engine turns CCW from drivers seat. The pump turns that way as well! (from the drivers seat, or looking at the shaft). JimN

Just get a bi-directional,will work either way.
