Hi.
I have a Super Major tractor, I think around 1960's vintage. When purchased I found the hydraulic oil low with some evidence of water in the oil. It was parked outside in the weather.
I topped up the oil and all seems to work OK except the gear change. It seems very tight to move and the lever pops out of the female part of the fitting on the gear change rail. In fact the rail seems to jam. All I have done so far is remove the gear lever and try and replace with another but this has not helped. Does anyone know if there is any adjustments to the rail or change mechanism??
Thanks
John
