TC30 Hydraulics

I have a TC30 tractor with front wheel assist. I am wanting to know if there is a suction screen in the hydraulic system. I am getting a cavatation noise when i am driving, I have changed hydraulic oil and filter.

Are you saying that while running the hydraulic bucket or rear 3pt there is a sound of fluid running through the lines? If so then this is natural, if the pump was cavatating then is there a jerky motion in the hydraulics?

Correct me if I'm reading this wrong but I assume by your description "cavitation noise" that you mean a loud whine that rises in pitch and volume as engine rpm increases. That would sound to me like air in a hydraulic system. If your power steering system has its own reservoir, have you checked/changed the fluid in that and is it time to change that filter? Might there be an air leak in the suction circuit; transmission to hydraulic pump? Maybe in the form of a bad o-ring, pump seal, damage to or rust pinhole in the steel line, loose fitting, etc? Look for the simplest things first, of course. I believe New Holland has their parts available online. If so, you may be able to find answers there and at other online forums. Keep us posted.
