Our old Ford explorer was getting a lot of miles on it,but we planed to drive it til it died,then out of the blue,one of our sons gave us an 08 Explorer ,like new loaded with about ever option available, with twenty thousand miles on it.A business car.Boy were we shocked. Arent kids great. What kind of suprise gifts have you gotten in your life,that tops this,or not
 

When we first bought our house, we had one horse. We had money set aside to put in a new kitchen and was shopping around. at the same time, kind of loosely shopping for another horse. We were looking at one place and a little buckskin filly started following me around. FF a couple of weeks and she said she'd found the kitchen she wanted and ordered it. I had to take a day off so it could be delivered (Friday before my Bday). Was surprised to see a horse trailer pull up and the filly come out. We waited a year on the new kitchen.

Wife and three sons gave me a Mantis rototiller for my birthday. Slickest little tihing in the garden, save me a ton of hand weeding and has been very reliable for six or seven years. Finally wore out the first set of tines this year and had to replace them. Sometimes the best gifts are the ones that keep on giving for years, not clothes and neckties I'll never wear.

You guys sure are lucky. All I get from my Son is his hand out for more Money. He just finished school at 42 went back at 38. when he finishes his required hours he will be a Reg Nurse with a BS degree, has all ready passed State Board. Maby then he can support him self.
