Got 1/4 of an inch of moisture here and most of it was hail.
Going to look at the neighbor's corn tomorrow. My oats should be ok as they are pretty short yet. Some of the winter wheat is down due to hail and high winds.
 
I was on my farm in east central Wis in Jul, 2007 when a hail storm hit. Nickel size hail was flying sideways at about 60mph for around 20 minutes. Looking to the east I couldn't see my maibox about 100 feet away. Looking to the west I could see some sunlight. Corn fields in the path of that storm were stripped bare. I was lucky because my soybeans needed a little thinning and that's all I got.
