What are you asking? Do we know about cap and trade or do we know cap and trade will pass Friday?
Well I know about cap and trade but I didn't know it will pass Friday.
 
Yes it will pass Friday because the devil has made a deal with himself. I guess it is more correct to say the devils (plural) have made a deal. Just as the science around this carbon hoax is collapsing the former free people of amerika are having it rammed down our throats as law. One more line of nails in the coffin of freedom and prosperity - this will prevent any possible economic recovery for the foreseeable future.

I remember when this was a free country. Sadly my children are old enough to have the memory but too young to have enjoyed living free as adults.
 
I don't want to know anything, was just letting everyone know.

Amazing that no one knows, and this will have more impact on our economy than any legislation ever passed in our history.
 
If your Rep. is for the Cap and Tax, melt the phone lines with calls! It may or may not help, the deals being done are making the Founders of the USA spin in their graves.
 
You hit the nail on the head. I live in one of the most conservative voting districts in the USA and our congresswimp is idly standing by while the USA is legislated out of existence by his ""colleauges"". I want some representation that at least resembles what I voted for but I don"t forsee it happening.
 
The biggest hoax every pulled off. Adolph Hitler once made the comment that the average citizen would just as easily believe a big lie as a small one, so you might as well tell a big one.

Here in Iowa, Mid-American Energy has said we can expect our utility bills to go up 25% if the cap and trade bill passes. Because Mid American mostly uses coal, they would be forced to purchase a bunch of carbon credits. Talk about Bull S***!
 
No, Though he was a student there, he didn't learn his lessons in Harvard. He is a student of Saul Alinski, He is a hard core marxist. He also, sadly, has plenty of marxists in Congress to help him get through his agenda. With this Cap+Trade scam bill, and the Socialist healthcare plan they will get through. This country as we know it is finished.

I concur. I was talking to my Dad about all this and he is disgusted too. So I asked him what's he going to do about it? He, and so many others say, "What can I do?".

It seems out forefather's had a stronger belief in this country and what it stands for, and were more willing to make sacrifices, was well as the ultimate sacrifice, for future generations.

Seems today everyone is too involved in their own lives, too used to soft living, too conditioned to accept things happening to them, and not accept responsibility for having allowed them to happen.

I'm not one of them.

Jeffereson said the citizens would revolt every 25 years, due to the Federal government's overstepping it's Constitutional limits. It would seem we're about 200 past due. Perhaps it won't come to that, maybe our representatives will come to their senses, but I'm not banking on it. And short of that, how else can we turn things around and bring the government back into line with what the Founders intended?
