Wife and I went to Homestead, Ia today to AC and MM show. I prefer Olivers, but I think I could get along with this D21 alright. V-10 Deutz, about 850cu.in. Sounded real good in the parade. Chris

Yes , they had a good turnout. We got there just the rain started in the morning. I tried to take pictures of the MM's in the rain, and it was too dark. We drove up to Amana about noon and got some bread and came back to see the AC's and it quit raining and they had the parade. I saw some unusual equipment there. We will have to try another time. This looks so nice I'm going to place on the AC forum. We ran a Deutz engine similar to that back in the late 1950's or early 60's on a dynanmometer test stand. The US government may have thought about using it in some of their vehicles. I don't think that ever happened. The project engineer was a GI in the US Army and he
spoke German. When he was discharged he was hired back as a civilian employee. Hal
