Found That Rascal

Went out and rummaged around in the weeds. Found the baler buried up to it's earlobes in overgrowth and mud.

No more than got it pulled up into the yard and we promptly got another 2" of rain.

Also, ordered fuel a week ago and the fuel man just can't get there on account of the mud.

I'm afraid if things keep going at this rate, I'm gonna have to break down and buy some twine. :>(

Ahh, Allan is just having a little fun. Truth be told I'm sure he's really happy to see the rains come and have a good chance at making a hay crop this year.

Ussually we get 2 weeks of rain after we order fuel. Can't say what's going on right now, we haven't ordered fuel since April or so.

Our corn that was planted 3 weeks ago or so is only about 4" tall right now. Far cry from knee high that it should almost be.

Needing some twine eh? Seek out a divorcing couple.

A lady in my home town booted out her husband back in the 1980s and promptly sold off the twine stored in the garage. Of course he didn't find that out until he want to get some in order to bale.

Sold cheaply too from what I heard. Sure wouldn't have wanted to get in the middle of that mess.

I know what ya mean with all this rain. Corn is barely growing here, i got a couple fields that need to be replanted only problem is if you take the equipment into them you will sink up to the axle.

Hay needs to be made. Only about 40% of the total hay crop in this area has been made and with that only about 25% was made without being rained on at least once. I was gonna mow hay today awoke this morning to a thunderbuster dropping 2 inchs of rain in about 45 mins. Not to mention the forcast has changed AGAIN for the next couple of days. If i cant get anything done again this week then Sunday iam gonna officially start praying for no rain and 85 degree weather for at least a month.

From the Indiana Rain Forest. My garden has been flooded for over a week. 'Maters, peppers, cilantro all dead. Cucumbers, watermelons, squash dying. Even stout little onions drooped and probably dead. But the corn is ok. Don't know if I'll replant this 1/64th of an acre or not.
